Department of the d arch and to previous correspond-

ence I am directed by Ir Secretary mery to inform you

that the Accountant-General of the Navy has requested

745000

that a further sum of 165,000 may be transferred to the

Navy General Account in the books of Kis Kajesty's

fifth

Paymaster-General as representing a furth instalment

on account of the contribution of £250,000 which the

Goverment of Hong Kong is making towards the cost of

the Naval Pase at Singapore.

c enclose a Receivable Order which the

Accountant-General has furnished and to request that

you will transfer the sum in question as desired,

charring the payment to the special account which you

keep for this service.
